Advanced Sensor Suites: Unless the ship's Sensors have suffered one or more Breaches, whenever a character performs a Task assisted by the ship’s Sensors, they may reduce the Difficulty of the Task by one, to a minimum of 0. Advanced Shields: Increase the ship's maximum Shields by 5. Emergency Medical Hologram: The ship has one additional Supporting Character, a Mk. IV Emergency Medical Hologram, which does not cost any Crew Support to introduce. Improved Warp Drive: Whenever the ship spends Power to go to warp, roll one die for each Power spent; for each Effect rolled, that point of Power is refunded. Secondary Reactors: Increase the ship's Power capacity by 5.

The Mark IV EMH has full range of the Hyperion, thanks to holo-emitters spread out all over the ship. It can exist in three separate instances at once, provided they are not all within the same area of the ship as that could overload the local pattern buffer. Each crewmember can separately assign their own preferred parameters for the EMH from a vast pre-selected library, giving it all sorts of possible appearances, voices, and mannerisms. The computer scans the situation prior to materializing the hologram and selects the most appropriate form according to present crew and detected situation. (Caitian nurse is by far the most preferred appearance amongst the crew.)
